My Story
A Licensed Clinical Therapist Here to Support You
Before becoming a Clinical Therapist, Dr. Novie worked as a Producer/Casting Director of TV & Film in Los Angeles, CA. She also wrote and directed BLUE MIDNIGHT, a docu-drama that educates individuals on how to recognize the signs and symptoms of depression and suicide. Her creative aspirations keep her enmeshed in the entertainment industry and she enjoys combining the arts with treatment plans that assist clients in working toward mental wellness.
ACTING OUT LOUD THERAPY incorporates evidenced based interventions to assist ADULTS and YOUTH in the therapeutic process. For adults, we help you implement interventions for a broad range of concerns including anxiety, depression, marital concerns, life transitions and many other life trials.
For adolescents, we may utilize creative exercises, role play, improvisation, and other expressive arts in the therapeutic environment. We strive to help young people find alternatives to negative thinking and offer them the opportunity to learn coping skills in a creative environment which alleviates some of the turmoil they encounter.
